Jack The Ripper Identity Finally Revealed After 100% DNA Match, Historian Claims

A historian now claims to have uncovered conclusive proof of Jack the Ripper’s identity through a 100 percent DNA match, potentially solving one of history’s most infamous mysteries.Jack the Ripper terrorized London nearly 150 years ago, leaving behind a trail of brutal murders that shocked the city. At least five women were confirmed victims of his gruesome crimes.

These women, commonly referred to as the ‘Canonical Five,’ include Elizabeth Stride, Mary Jane Kelly, Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, and Catherine Eddowes. Their tragic deaths remain at the center of the infamous case.

Despite the passage of time, the true identity of Jack the Ripper has remained an unsolved mystery. Although whoever committed these horrific acts is long deceased, the search for answers has never stopped.Over the years, 16 different men have been proposed as potential suspects. These individuals range from ordinary citizens to even members of the royal family.

Although physical evidence has always been limited, investigators and historians have pieced together information based on the confirmed murders.Historian Russell Edwards has been at the forefront of a new breakthrough. He acquired a shawl once owned by victim Catherine Eddowes and subjected it to DNA analysis.

The results were striking. The blood on the shawl was matched to a living descendant of Eddowes. Additionally, further testing on semen traces identified a connection to a distant relative of Aaron Kosminski, one of the long-standing Ripper suspects, according to the Mirror.

The claims were detailed in Edwards’ book, Jack the Ripper: The Definitive Reveal, a follow-up to his earlier work, Naming Jack the Ripper.“He is no longer just a suspect. We can hold him, finally, to account for his terrible deeds.” Edwards wrote.

“My search is over: Aaron Kosminski is Jack the Ripper.”

According to the Daily Mail, Edwards has now assembled a legal team in an effort to push for an official inquest after confirming the 100 percent DNA match.Interestingly, descendants from both Eddowes and Kosminski are in favor of this legal process.

The primary goal is to officially establish Kosminski as the perpetrator, which would bring long-awaited closure to the families of the victims.

Karen Miller, a direct descendant of Eddowes – specifically her great-great-great-granddaughter spoke to the Mail and shared her thoughts: “The name Jack the Ripper has become sensationalized. It has gone down in history as this famous character.”“What about the real name of the person who did this? Having the real person legally named in a court, which can consider all the evidence, would be a form of justice for the victims. We have got the proof. Now, we need this inquest to legally name the killer.”
